As there was no clear brand going into the project, the colour palette selected for the website was chosen to match the objectives of the business. Aside from being universally favoured, blue is most associated with stability, trust and purity. Specifically, dark blue is is the shade that is associated with intelligence and emotional control; qualities that one would most likely want to find in an effective mediator.
Lawrence Glasner partnered with Minimist to create an online presence that is minimal and modern. But minimalism is not about disposing of everything, or being plain and boring. Minimalism does away with unnecessary ornamental filigree while retaining what is required. The existing website was slightly too plain, to the extent that it was lifeless and dated. The new website contains all the necessary information with great SEO and clear calls to action, while projecting professionalism and a consistent brand.
In addition to providing a platform for visitors to get in touch with Mr. Glasner, it is also built with SEO best practices in mind to ensure it continues to move closer to the top of Google listings.
Moving forward, he will be able to easily publish articles relating to mediation to help drive traffic without the use of ads.
